Terms of service

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Big Beard Battery website and your purchase of products or services from Big Beard Battery.

Throughout these Terms, “Big Beard Battery,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Road Life Project LLC, doing business as Big Beard Battery. “You” and “your” refer to the website visitor, customer or purchaser.

By accessing our website, placing an order or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our other published policies.

1. Online Store Terms

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use this website or place an order.

You may not use our products, services or website for an unlawful purpose or violate any applicable law through your use of the website.

You may not transmit malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or interfere with its operation.

2. Product Information

We work to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, photographs, pricing and availability. However, manufacturers may revise products, packaging, specifications or included accessories without notice.

Colors and product appearance may vary depending on the customer’s screen, manufacturing revisions and other factors.

We may correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions and update information without prior notice.

3. Pricing and Orders

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing or product-information errors
  • Limit product quantities
  • Decline or cancel an order
  • Discontinue products or services
  • Request additional information needed to process an order
  • Adjust or withdraw promotions as permitted by their terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the affected payment using the original payment method.

Estimates and quotes are valid through the expiration date shown on the document. Unless otherwise stated, estimates generally expire after 30 days.

4. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms shown during checkout, on the applicable invoice or in the customer’s written service agreement.

Dealer or commercial payment terms, including Net 30 privileges, are governed by the applicable dealer agreement, invoice and purchasing profile. Failure to pay amounts when due may result in suspension of ordering privileges or other available remedies.

Customers are responsible for applicable taxes, shipping charges and other fees identified during checkout or invoicing.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are subject to our published Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Big Beard Battery is not responsible for carrier delays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Title and risk associated with shipped products are handled in accordance with applicable law and the carrier’s documented delivery process.

6. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our published Refund Policy, Payment Policy and any product- or service-specific terms disclosed before purchase.

Certain products or services may be nonrefundable, subject to restocking fees or subject to cancellation deadlines.

7. Batteries, Electrical Components and Installation

Lithium batteries, inverters, solar equipment and related electrical components must be selected, handled, installed, configured and used correctly.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about their RV, vehicle or application
  • Following applicable product manuals and system diagrams
  • Following electrical, vehicle, fire-safety and building requirements
  • Using qualified assistance when a task exceeds their knowledge or ability
  • Operating products within their published specifications

Improper installation, incorrect programming, unauthorized modification, misuse, physical damage or operation outside published specifications may damage equipment, create a safety risk and affect warranty eligibility.

A system design, diagram, consultation or product recommendation is based on the information supplied by the customer. Changes to the RV, loads, components, installation conditions or intended use may require a revised design.

8. Consultations and Technical Support

The scope of included customer support depends on the products and services purchased.

Advanced troubleshooting, remote system access, support for equipment purchased elsewhere and work beyond the included support scope may require a paid consultation.

Remote assistance depends on the customer providing accurate information, photographs, videos, system access and a safe person onsite when necessary. Remote assistance cannot replace physical inspection when an onsite diagnosis is required.

9. In-Person Services and DIY Install Clinics

Private installations, repair appointments, DIY Install Clinics and other in-person services may be governed by additional estimates, invoices, waivers, scheduling terms or service agreements.

Customers must comply with facility rules and safety instructions while at Big Beard Battery or the Road Life Complex.

DIY Install Clinic participants remain responsible for performing their work carefully, following instructions and disclosing any condition that could affect safety or completion.

Clinic deposits, installation payments, rescheduling and cancellations are governed by the applicable product listing, invoice and published payment or refund policies.

10. Product Warranties

Big Beard Battery products are covered only by the written warranty applicable to the product.

Third-party products, including Victron Energy and Micro-Air products, are subject to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty. Big Beard Battery may assist with eligible warranty claims when authorized to do so, but the manufacturer determines coverage under its warranty.

Warranty service may require troubleshooting, photographs, system information, an in-person inspection or delivery to an authorized service location. Shipping and transportation responsibilities are governed by the applicable warranty.

No statement on this website expands or replaces a written product warranty.

11. Customer Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.

You must provide accurate, current and complete account, billing, tax and delivery information.

Dealer pricing, catalogs, payment terms and portal access are confidential privileges provided only to approved customers. Dealer access may not be shared or used for unauthorized purchases.

12. Intellectual Property

The website and its content—including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, product names, system diagrams and educational materials—are owned by or licensed to Big Beard Battery and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell or commercially use this content without written permission.

System diagrams supplied to a customer may be used for that customer’s purchased system but may not be resold or represented as the work of another business.

13. Reviews, Photographs and Submitted Content

If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, video or other content for publication, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

We may choose whether to publish, remove or respond to submitted content. We will not materially alter the meaning of a customer review.

Separate permission may be requested before using identifiable customer or project photographs in marketing.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, financing providers, shipping carriers, scheduling services, video platforms and manufacturer websites.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices or separate terms of third-party services. Your use of those services may be governed by additional terms.

15. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website or its content to:

  • Violate applicable laws
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Transmit malicious software
  • Collect information about others without authorization
  • Interfere with website security or functionality
  • Circumvent purchasing, pricing or account restrictions
  • Use dealer access or confidential pricing without authorization

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for written product warranties and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

General website content is informational and is not a substitute for an inspection of a specific RV, vehicle, electrical system or installation environment.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Beard Battery will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website, delays outside our control or misuse or improper installation of products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Big Beard Battery and its owners, employees and representatives harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms or unauthorized misuse or modification of products.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, customer account, dealer portal or purchasing privileges when a user violates these Terms, misuses the website or engages in fraudulent or unlawful activity.

Obligations incurred before termination remain enforceable.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or a separate written agreement, legal proceedings relating to these Terms will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Henderson County, Texas.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.

Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
