The clinic is for hands-on RV owners who want to understand their own power system and take pride in building it themselves. You do not need to arrive knowing wire sizes, inverter settings, or solar math. You do need to be ready to work on your RV, ask questions, and follow a system plan built around your goals.

We strongly encourage you to submit the System Design Form and speak with our team before purchasing a clinic deposit. That conversation helps us understand your RV, power goals, comfort level, and timeline before you choose a date.

Purchase the $1,000 deposit for your preferred available week. This is half of the $2,000 clinic fee.

Your system components are purchased from Big Beard Battery and include our batteries, plus the equipment required for your approved design.

Bring your RV to Athens and complete the installation with the tools, workspace, and support available on-site.

The deposit is half of the clinic fee.
Your $1,000 deposit reserves one limited spot. The full clinic fee is $2,000, and system components are purchased separately.
Your system uses our components.
Your approved package is purchased through Big Beard Battery and includes our batteries along with the other components specified in your design.
Before you arrive
Common clinic questions
Do I need installation experience?
No. The clinic is designed for motivated owners across a wide range of experience levels. We build the plan before you arrive and help you work through it step by step.
Am I responsible for the installation?
Yes. This is a do-it-yourself clinic: you complete the work on your own RV. Our team provides guidance, checks progress, and can quote additional hands-on assistance when requested.
What do I purchase from Big Beard Battery?
Clinic participants purchase the components for their approved system from us, including our batteries. Your quote may also include solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, monitoring, cabling, protection, and other items required by your design.
Where do I stay?
You stay with your RV at the Road Life Complex in Athens, Texas. The clinic includes access to a full-hookup site with electric, water, and sewer near the workshop.
What if I need to change my date?
If a scheduling conflict arises, you may transfer your full deposit to another available clinic date. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to sales@bigbeardbattery.com. Refunds are based on how far in advance the request is received; review the complete terms on the deposit product before purchasing.
