Short Answer: With Victron gear, you’ll always have monitoring—usually on your phone or a mounted screen. Full Answer: Every Victron-based system includes monitoring. Our favorite setup uses a Cerbo, which connects to your phone via Bluetooth for easy control. If Wi-Fi is available, you can even check on your system remotely. For convenience, we also like mounting a screen inside your RV so you can keep an eye on things without pulling out your phone every five minutes.

Short Answer: Nope—solar is optional. Full Answer: While solar is awesome (and we love it), it’s not required to build an off-grid power system. Some customers prefer to recharge with their generator, especially if they just want to make it comfortably through quiet hours. Others are what we call “power hoppers”—they need enough battery to stop for a few hours before moving on to their next RV park. Either way, we can design a system that works without drilling into your roof.
